Sarah Champion MP to stand for Chair of the Backbench Business Committee

Sarah Champion, Member of Parliament for Rotherham, has announced that she's standing for Chair of the Backbench Business Committee in Parliament. Established by the House in 2010, the committee gives an opportunity to backbench MPs to bring forward debates of their choice. It has an allocation of time outside Government control to schedule debates on any subject put forward by backbench MPs. To read more click here
