Food for People in Crisis Christmas Appeal 2014

Winter is the hardest time of year for people living in poverty, and this Christmas is looking especially tough as food, energy and fuel prices continue to rise. Rotherham's Food for People in Crisis Partnership (FIC) has launched their Christmas Appeal, asking for donations of either food, toiletries or money and I am happy to support the excellent work they do.

Last year's appeal raised over £3,000 in cash donations and donations of food and toiletries were made to 18 local organisations, including the Red Cross and five local branches of the Salvation Army.
